Stroll up Corcovado by day through the Tijuca national park to the Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer statue). Catch the famous yellow tram from the top of the street over the Arcos de Lapa. While away the evening in our outdoor lounge with views across the glittering metropolis. Roll down a hundred yards by night into the wild samba houses of Lapa or, for a truly authentic experience, Santa Teresa’s own Escola de Samba (Samba School).

The apartments are situated in an early twentieth century Portuguese villa, moments from Largo das Neves - the picturesque cobbled square served by the famous yellow tram (bonde) where thousands flock on foot from the nearby sambodrome each night after the carnival to party into the early hours.
